  Needless to say, they turned around and walked out, refusing to stay there. I know I'll NEVER stay there, and I hope anyone reading this feels the same way. I really hope the General Manager of this establishment reads this comment and is able to determine who it is on his/her staff that said these things. This individual needs, at least, some serious sensitivity training and, quite possibly, to reconsider his career choice in the hospitality industry. Unbelievable.

  Decent room. Not just for the price either. Quiet room at night. 75 bucks and the manager knew thunderbay was pretty full

  May 7, 2016 - the front desk representative told my friends who had *just* escaped two days earlier from the inferno that was Fort McMurray ... who had *just* lost their home and belongings to the fire ... who had driven for two solid days at that point on their way home to family in NB ... he had the insensitive nerve to say they were from "Fort McHopeless". When this upset them, he then said they were just being "too sensitive".

  Had a kitchenette. Rooms were a good size. Price decent. Was clean. The water tap was a bit loose and water very hot.
