  Building was historic and beautiful, but that also meant the rooms could be a bit nicer. They were very large and clean, but could be updated. Breakfast was AMAZING. Usually breakfast buffets don't do so well with scrambled eggs, but these ones were perfect. The pastry selection was fantastic. Only complaint was the lack of juices. Location is amazing if you want to see the Sleeping Giant and walk along Lake Superior - there is a pedestrian bridge from the parking lot to a lakeside park.

  Never again! We got to the hotel at around 4am cause we are travelling across Canada and really needed the rest. When we got there the clerk was nice but took forever to figure out the new debit machine that he never got shown how to use.. Then once we finally got a room, their heating unit was making so much noise that it kept us awake most of the time we should have slept.. Then when I went to check out I told the lady how disappointing it was to pay 130$ and not be able to sleep because of all the noises she just smiled at me... No apologies or nothing. This is obviously not a hotel that cares about their costumers. Never again!

  Nicer on the inside then it looks on the outside. Great views of the giant. Lots of character. Friendly and helpful staff.

  The Prince Aurthur is a very good hotel on a budget. Located downtown, it's walking distance to all the bars restaurants and the casino. Getting a South facing room with give you a breathtaking view of the sleeping giant, silhouetted by the rising Sun. Overall I'd give this place a great reccomendation, you should stay there!

  Thunder Bay, Prince Arthur Hotel was very accomodating and even had a crib for our child so we did not have to bring one, in which would have cost more money in transportation. They were quick amd efficient upon entering the hotel. Our rooms were clean and well prepared. The only issue is when calling it took sometime to get to the phone and in my exoerience the phone should NEVER reach the answering machine. Otherwise a great overall experience.
