  Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with Exterior Finishing. Rather than bore you with all the details, I will say that their communication (or lack of it) is appalling. We called them to fix a specific problem. They did work that didn't fix it, nor did it even improve it slightly. When we expressed concern, we were told that they'd be sending us to collections (even though the invoice was less than a week old at this point). We explained that we were not trying to get out of payment, but wanted to pay for the work we asked for and wanted to resolve the issue. It was more than a month of us repeatedly calling them, trying to resolve the issue, when they said they would just come back and remove the work done. A week later, we got a call saying the owner refused to remove it/fix it, and we just had to pay up. It wasn't a large amount and we are tired of dealing with the issue, so we'll pay but we're extremely unhappy and will make sure to explicitly not recommend them to anyone in our neighbourhood.
