Wow, what a great place. The sales staff were always extremely helpful and friendly. They didn't seem to mind my frequent return visits while car shopping and helped me to find the perfect vehicle that fit my price range. The service staff have been kind and courteous to us and are always available to answer questions.

My new Mitsubishi Mirage developed an intrusive rattle @ 13,000km. During many complaints/visits over 10 months I was told everything from "this is normal", "these are normal noises for the Mirage", Mirages rattle you know this", "if you drive the car differently it's not as bad so drive it differently, etc.

After my initial review here, my threats to move to litigation and a harshly worded letter to Mitsubishi corp. T.Bay Mitsubishi decided to let me meet a Mitsu rep. During that meeting I was able to show and prove the rattle was NOT a normal Mirage noise.

I am saying that T.Bay Mitsubishi needs to find the skill and/or the will to properly diagnose issues and fix them in a timely manner.

The vehicle fantastic, the sales lady great..... the service desk is blame full and unorganized, I still haven't gotten my key fixed because of how they make you feel, went there twice once the gentleman blamed me for breaking my own key, then took payment. Called me back to say I owe them money, and to bring in the key they would take care of it. When I got there they told me I had to get the key cut elsware, but on the phone they told me they would take care of it. So I had to run out get the key cut and go back...... the key is cut but I haven't went back as when I was there last like 10 associates all tried to tell me I was wrong and I had to go... they don't do that here.

T.Bay Mitsubishi then stopped blaming me and started to make an honest effort at fixing my car.

On my second vehicle from this dealer. No surprises here.

I'm tempted to leave my previous rating of 3 stars because after 10 months of abuse my car has finally been fixed and I'm happy, but that's not fair to those who want honest reviews. So...

I'm not saying Mitsubishi product is not good. I love my Mirage. Im not saying T.Bay Mitsubishi (aside from the one service tech who angrily yelled in my face "mirages rattle, you know this") didn't treat me with respect.

After many more fruitless visits to try this 'n that, I was introduced to a service tech who had not yet worked on my car and still had an open mind. I took him for a ride of less than 2 minutes b4 he heard the rattle, understood when it happened and was able to replicate it at will (he's the first ever to manage this). Less than a week later he had fixed my car. He solved the issue in short order and as it turns out, for less than $20.00 in shop supplies.

There's now 36,000km on the odometer, that's 23,000kms over 10 months of living with the rattle while T.Bay Mitsubishi dragged their feet hoping I would just go away.
