  The falls are lovely! Campsites could be kept cleaner... beer bottle caps and broken beer bottles around our camp site, would advise staff to check before renting the spots out and invest in a rake. Toilets are ok have seen worse, although haven't had a shower yet.

  We stayed at Trowbridge this past month and can't say enough good about it. The staff were incredibly helpful and would always follow up on any question right away. The sites are great although some will require an extra length of water hose and electrical cord. No worries for the average camper. We found the park to be spotlessly clean especially the showers and toilets. There are lots of trees and shade and it's a a short walk to the falls. Wonderful adventure. We'll be back.

  Sites offer lots of intimacy. Showers are rustic and just OK in terms of being clean.

  There is excellent river access as well as a good proximity to Thunder Bay, the staff was friendly, and convenient hiking/bike trails.

  Trowbridge has the potential to be a nice campground. For over a year they knew that 220 people on the coast to coast classic car tour would be coming to camp for 2 nights. Trowbridge campground did not prepare the facilities for our arrival. All of the women's washroom reeked of raw sewage. One of the showers actually had raw sewage back flowing into it and it was not closed until our women made MANY complaints. Trowbridge’s staff's remedy was to have a park employee “fix” it resulting in the complete closure of a women's washroom. Trowbridge staff told campers to use a different washroom even though it was a 10 min walk from their campsite with little to no apology. The sewage problem was obviously long running as we discovered previous campers had been using the bushes outside of the campsites as their washroom (gross) but I can see why someone would do this as the washrooms were suffocating with sewage smell. After camping for 2 nights and unable to shower our wonderful time in Thunder Bay was overshadowed buy disgusting washrooms at Trowbridge Campground.

  This state of apathy leads to a significant dirt bag clientele that has no problems walking through your site and letting their dogs run loose wherever they please.

  This is a campground with the potential to be very good, but the lack of maintenance and lack of policing leave it wanting.

  The washrooms and showers were rundown and in disrepair, there were missing fire rings, broken picnic tables, graffiti and a general sense of apathy toward the campground conditions.
