  i recently was in the market for a new nail tech as mine had moved away. as i was shopping around a friend suggested i go to totally polished so i started to do my research i came across the troubling responses to customers that were unhappy with something at this spa. the owner clearly lacks professionalism and would probably benefit in taking some business classes or at least spending more time working on her customer service skills. based on the reputation of this place i will take my business elsewhere. remember ladies, the customer is always right!

  My d-I-l called yesterday to provide some constructive feedback and was met with attitude by the owner. She didn’t listen to the issues being shared and cut off the conversation by offering a credit. I live I Ottawa so a credit is not satisfactory and based on our experience and the reaction and attitude of the owner, my d-I-l will not go back and will also share her experience with friends....we’ll never go back!!

  I always have a good time here, they are nice and never pushy, even when i change my mind about the nail polish a hundred times. They made extra time for me when there was a miscommunication. I look forward to going agin and being treated as a princess.

  We were charged $45 each for the pedi....the same price as the February special advertised on the website.....no discount as promised because students did the pedis!

  Nail tech didnt tell me how hot the UV lamp would get, as i have never gotten gel nails before i didnt know i could remove them from the heat when it got uncomfortable. Even after i was clearly uncomfortable the technician didnt say anything just continued on. Although the nails did last 1 1/2 months before they started to come off, the salon told me they do not remove gel nails for free and there would be a charge. On the website, it says $25 fee for if it was not done by you guys and it was done by you guys so it should be free. Overall, i was not happy with my experience and looking at the comments from other reviews, i 100% would not recommend this place to anyone. Also instead of being defensive when replying to feedback, maybe try and understand why you have such low ratings. I will never be back and never recommend you to anyone.

  My daughter in law and I went for a pedicure on Sunday. When we arrived we were advised that our pedis would be done by students and this would be their final exam....this was not mentioned when my d-I-l called to make our appointment. The owner told us we would be charged a lower price because they were students. We agreed, but felt put on the spot. It would have been nice to be advised of this when the appointment was made.

  I would just like to point out how unprofessional the owner and some of her techs are. I go in there and she talks about clients she doesn't like and about how she doesn't like them whilst other clients are in there. She doesn't treat her techs well and lacks all qualities of a business owner. In my opinion it seems like she opened this salon because she was bored. Hunny may go be a bored house wife else where. This should be a place if business and not a school yard. I don't see this place lasting long with the power of word of mouth. I sincerely hope she learns what respect is. If you treat your techs well and CUSTOMERS your place will florish. Spend more time improving your qualities...I mean lack there of, instead of being a keyboard warrior on this review site. XOXO

  No one came in to observe the work the students were doing, nor did they even check the quality of the pedi before we left.

  When making the appointment, my d-I-l asked if we could be in and out within an hour as she has a newborn baby to get home to feed. She was assured that we could be.

  Neither of the students was there when we arrived; both were running late! They were 15 minutes late getting to work and another few minutes setting up to do our pedis.

  Our pedicures were ok except that even though I had asked if they had disposable flip flops to use before our polish was applied and they said they did, they didn’t attempt to put them on until after our polish was applied and still wet....we ended up putting them on ourselves. In addition, I only got one coat of polish!
