  It's an older hotel, but there's plenty of charm. The spa was the best part; the pool was huge and deep (8.5 feet!). There's a workout room with modern equipment, a hot tub, a sauna and a stream room. The rooms themselves were average size and quite clean. No rust on the bath or grime in the corners. We were able to adjust the heat and it was always quite comfortable. Lots of electrical plugs. Coffee machine, microwave and bar fridge. I enjoyed our stay here and will return.

  Just stayed at this Hotel twice in one week on a short trip to Ontario. The service was outstanding! Everyone I dealt with at the Hotel from the Front Desk Staff to the Restaurant Staff treated me like I was a long time friend. Without a doubt the best service I have recieved in a long time. Nice and clean and comfortable beds. Great food too in the Restaurant. I will be staying with them again.

  Broke down in Thunder Bay recently and our company booked us in this wonderful hotel. Nice lobby w/fireplace, fitness facility, pool and sauna (bring your swimsuit), the hot tub was closed for repairs but sure it will be up and running soon. They have a restaurant on site, mostly sandwiches like rueben, clubhouse etc as well as breakfast menu. Several restaurants in the vicinity if you prefer other culinary choices within walking distance. Very nice room, clean and comfortable: furniture was a little worn but the beds were exceptionally cozy, clean and inviting , nice decor with all you'll need to enjoy your stay. The staff was friendly, attentive and accommodating;; would recommend staying here to all who are passing through or staying for awhile. One can arrange to park and fly with their shuttle that takes you right to the airport while your vehicle stays safe right where you left it. Planning to stay in Thunder Bay.? STAY HERE

  Local hotel. Used by many organizations for conferences. A smallish Walmart is down the street past the Hampton Inn. Older hotel. No elevators. Several first floor rooms with outside entrances. Restaurant hours are hit and miss. Open for breakfast and supper. Fortunately, there are several places close by either a short walk or drive from the hotel. Delivery is always a good option.

  It was okay. The bed was reasonably comfortable but the pillows were so small. The bathroom kind of had a weird smell and there were some odd noises and banging that woke me up in the middle of the night. The staff was incredibly friendly so overall it was a good hotel for the short stay I had.
